Single patterns
I like to design motifs and elements from inspiration of the moment or perhaps an art prompt. From a photograph Ive snapped or a view out of an airplane window a simple sketch in my journal can be the beginning of a pattern, a collection, a new design to try or a new colour pallette. Whilst my colours seem to always venture towards soft, calm and pretty Im well aware as a long time quilter and user of my patterns, the importance of scale, tonal contrast and supporting patterns. All designs are in vector format, scaleable and in many cases colour changes are available, whilst still fitting my design brand and style.
