Down Maaoupe Road

I grew up down Maaoupe road on a sheep farm in the country. We  would spend hours on our bikes along the country gravel roads, playing in paddocks, helping in the vast flower garden and veggie patch. Flowers were a big part of our home with my mother a florist and my father a dab hand at anything – along with his beloved sheep. Vases of fresh flowers were always on show. Maaoupe Road will always be my first home of memories. With a soft calm pretty pallete and handdrawn motifs this collection represents all things childhood. It has been created as a quilt collection with tonal values, scales, basics, quietness and features. With designs suited to fussy cutting, larger scale prints as features for bags or clothing, and tone on tones and basic small prints for fillers.
